1. About Pebble Portals

Pebble Portals is a creative game combining painted rocks (“Pebbles”) with digital storytelling. Each Pebble has a QR code linking to its online page, where users can freely view photos, personality blurbs, and recent location data. Optional paid features unlock additional content including full journey history, future tracking, or all-rocks access.

2. Age Requirement

Users must be 13 years or older to use Pebble Portals. By participating, you confirm you meet this age requirement. Parents/guardians are responsible for children under 13.

3. Participation & Responsibilities

  • Viewing Pebble photos and locations is at your own discretion.
  • Users must behave responsibly, safely, and lawfully when interacting with Pebbles.
  • Do not upload harmful, offensive, or copyrighted material.
  • When placing or re-hiding Pebbles, avoid private property, dangerous locations, and environmentally sensitive areas.
  • By using Pebble Portals, you accept full responsibility for any consequences, including accidents, injury, death, property damage, or environmental harm. Pebble Portals is not liable for any such events.

4. Ownership

  • Physical Pebbles: Intended for sharing; permanent ownership is not assumed.
  • Digital Content: All website content, designs, and Pebble stories are owned by Pebble Portals. User submissions remain the user’s property but are licensed for display.

5. Paid Features & Mandatory Consent

  • Before accessing Full History (£4.99), Future Tracking (£9.99), or All-Rocks Access (£19.99), users must acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe, PayPal, or WooCommerce. Pebble Portals does not store card details.
  • Purchases are non-refundable, except as required by law.
  • Users are required to confirm agreement via a checkbox or explicit confirmation before completing any paid transaction.

6. Service Availability

Pebble Portals may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. Users accept that features may change or be unavailable temporarily or permanently.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively under this jurisdiction.
